So far in the previous four editions of the Pakistan Super League, Lahore?;p0 Qalandars have failed to reach the higher spot in the table. The team will be led by Sohail Akhtar. During 36 games of PSL Lahore Qalandars have just managed to win 11 games out of 36 games. If we take a look at the winning percentage of Lahore i.e. 30.55 is the lowest among all sides in the competition.

When it comes to team selection or squad selection they have to face certain circumstances like injuries that ruled Mohammad Hafeez and AB de Villiers out of chunks of the battle, and a last-ball defeat against Quetta Gladiators stung, but the overall trouble of stringing wins together has been a chronic theme.

This season, they are eyeing on two Australians, Chris Lynn and Ben Dunk, to turn their fortune around. Apart from that, the responsibility will be on the shoulder of experienced internationals like Hafeez and Fakhar Zaman and Skipper Akhtar who was very impressive in the 2019 campaign.

When it comes to bowling prospects are brighter, after the inclusive of Haris Rauf during the BBL. Shaheen Afridi, Usman Shinwari are also they trump cards for Lahore Qalandars. On the other hand, England’s Samit Patel, and Hafeez all part-time -time tweakers of varying quality, but they lack a proper star specialist that could hurt them.
