Shane Watson, Ahmed Shehzad, and Umar Akmal have been most dominating batsmen in the tournament, however, Sarfaraz emerged as the most successful captain with 26 wins.

Watson was the primary driving force for Quetta Gladiators in the previous season. Watson’s performance comprised four half-centuries, including a 43-ball 71 in the Qualifier that booked the spot for their team in the finale. Watson’s dominance was followed by his teammates Shehzad and Rilee Rossouw with the bat, and Sohail Tanvir and Mohammad Nawaz performed with the ball.

However this year’s latest sensation for Quetta Gladiators acquiring Jason Roy, the England opener, who played a vital role in last year’s World Cup-winning side. Predictably, he was the first pick at the draft, from the Platinum category. The fast bowler from Sussex and England Tymal Mills was a new addition, however, Gladiators will miss Tanvir and Rossouw, who have both moved toward Multan Sultan.

Third place: Despite their strong batting line-up, a flaw is appeared in their bowling line up after the departure of Sohail Tanvir. Quetta Gladiators were very good at batting second in the previous season, but they were facing the problems with their efficiency when it comes to defending totals. Over expectations on some players and preference for certain desirable situations might cost them this time around.
