Rosie, the solo traveler told her story of converting to Islam on her Instagram page after spending a year in Pakistan. She told us that she had led a hard life and there had always been a lot of hurt in her heart. She also demonstrated that she has visited Muslim countries and spend time over there and then God sent her to Pakistan where she saw the peace in Muslims that they have in their hearts and she wanted something similar for herself.
She also said that the religion she had grown-up with never reverberated with her. And that she had condemned her religion 4 years ago and went on her own divine journey of discovery. This journey eventually leads her to Pakistan and then Islam.
She somehow came to know that Islam was extremely criticized the world over and had a dreadful reputation. My curiosity and connection with God got stronger. After a long time, I was capable to fully explore this righteous path without any fear. She knows the accurate meaning of the religion; which is peace, love, and oneness.
Rosie considered herself always been a Muslim since she alleged in the Shahada already that stands in the Oneness of Allah and the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) being the last messenger. So, therefore, it was only a matter of time before she legitimately converted to Islam.
Rosie declared on her Instagram that I CONVERTED to ISLAM and what lead me to this big decision?
One of the hardest years in my life was this last one which I declared previously, and all life’s challenges have led me to this point here and now. I witnessed the beauty of nature from the experience with the passage of time. I wanted to free myself from the pain, shackles, misalignment, and anger. I desired peace, as well as forgiveness and these things, started my journey.
I met along my pilgrimage through kind and humbled people and they are the ones who inspired my heart to seek further. After living in a Muslim country for more than ten years and traveling broadly through these regions, I came across one thing that is Peace. This was a kind of peace that one can merely dream of having in their hearts.
The foundation of Islam, as well as the true meaning of Islam, is PEACE, LOVE & ONENESS. It’s not a belief, but a way of life. The best way to spend life is humanity, humility, and Love.
