World’s Richest Countries

The richest countries in the world listed below are ranked based on GDP i.e., gross domestic product per capita standard. Wealth can be calculated in numerous ways. It can either be in the form of well-being, health or happiness.

GDP: The value of all final goods and services that are produced within a country in a given year, separated by the total population for the same year. The value is specified in international dollars, which is a hypothetical currency that follows the exchange rate of US dollars. 

1. QATAR

Qatar is the richest country in the world according to GDP per capita. Wealth primarily comes from oil and natural gas. The GDP Per Capita of Qatar is 130,475.

2. LUXEMBOURG

They have a robust industry of steel, rubber, and chemicals. Quite a few of the main headquarters of the EU can be found in the capital of Luxembourg. The GDP per capita is 106,705.

3. SINGAPORE

The GDP per capita of Singapore is 100,345. Many Singaporeans are grown up with a wish to become rich. Much can happen if they have a strong will. 

4. BRUNEI

The GDP per capita of Kuwait is 67,000. Kuwait has large quantities of oil due to which most people in Kuwait are wealthy.

9. SWITZERLAND:

The GDP per capita of Switzerland is 64,649. It is an additional country that has made itself famous for being a financial center. Most of the Swiss would be noted as wealthy in the majority of all countries around the world.

10. USA:

The GDP Per Capita of the USA is 62,606. If you consider nominal GDP, then the USA is the richest country in the world. But when calculating the GDP per capita, the United States will come at 10th place among the world’s richest countries. 

The financial crisis also hit the US economy hard, but they have recovered it quite well. The US dollar is as strong as ever.
